Introduction
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending Transilvania Salsa Fest (TSF), you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These rules are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful experience for all participants. TSF is organized in accordance with Romanian law and complies with EU regulations, including GDPR.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the attendee (you) and the organizers of TSF (hereafter referred to as “TSF”, “we”, or “us”).
1. Ticket Purchase, Refunds & Transfers
1.1 Types of Passes
TSF offers various types of access passes (e.g., Full Pass, Party Pass, Day Pass, etc.), each with different access rights. Please ensure you purchase the correct pass for your intended participation.
1.2 Payment
All ticket sales are final. Payment is processed through authorized third-party platforms. TSF is not responsible for any processing errors or transaction issues outside of our control.
1.3 Refund Policy
TSF operates a no-refund policy, except as required by applicable consumer protection laws. Refunds will not be granted for:
- Change of personal circumstances
- Travel disruptions or visa issues
- Performer cancellations or program changes
1.4 Transfer Policy
Ticket transfers to another individual may be permitted up to 14 days before the event, with prior written notice to TSF and a €15 administrative fee. Transfers must be requested in writing and are subject to approval.
1.5 Resale & Scalping
Unauthorized resale of tickets is prohibited. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be canceled without refund or entry.
2. Event Access & Rules of Conduct
2.1 Wristbands & Badges
All participants must wear their TSF wristband and/or badge at all times while inside the venue. Lost wristbands will only be replaced at our discretion and may incur a fee.
2.2 Entry Rights
TSF reserves the right to deny entry or remove participants at any time for behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of these Terms.
2.3 Event Schedule
While we strive to deliver the advertised schedule, TSF reserves the right to make changes to the lineup, timetable, or venue without prior notice. No refunds will be issued for changes in programming.
2.4 Conduct Expectations
All attendees are expected to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for others. Harassment, excessive intoxication, or any form of aggression will not be tolerated.
3. Age Restrictions & Alcohol Consumption
3.1 Age Limits
Participants must be at least 18 years of age to attend night parties and any event that includes alcohol. Underage attendees may be permitted to participate in workshops during the day if accompanied by a legal guardian and approved by the organizers.
3.2 Alcohol
Alcohol may only be consumed by attendees aged 18 and over. ID may be required at the bar or entrance.
4. Event Cancellation & Force Majeure
4.1 Force Majeure
TSF is not liable for any delay, cancellation, or alteration of the event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of terrorism, war, government orders, or venue unavailability.
4.2 Organizer Cancellation
If TSF is canceled in full by the organizers (and not due to force majeure), ticket holders will be offered either a full refund or the option to roll over their ticket to the next edition.
5. Media Release & Data Privacy (GDPR)
5.1 Photography & Filming
By attending TSF, you acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken by official event photographers and media partners. These may be used for promotional purposes on websites, social media, or printed materials without compensation.
If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please inform the photographer or contact us at: privacy@transilvaniasalsafest.com
5.2 GDPR & Data Use
Your personal data is processed in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect only the data necessary for event registration, communication, and safety protocols. We do not sell or share your data with third parties without your consent.
You may request data access or deletion at any time by emailing contact@transilvaniasalsafest.com.
6. Health, Safety & COVID-19 Disclaimer
6.1 Health Guidelines
By attending, you confirm that you are in good health and free of contagious illness. If you experience symptoms of any illness, you agree not to attend TSF activities.
TSF reserves the right to implement health and safety measures, including temperature checks, sanitation stations, or health declarations, in accordance with public health guidelines at the time.
6.2 Assumption of Risk
Dance activities involve physical exertion and close contact. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks related to physical injury or illness, including exposure to COVID-19 or similar viruses.
7. Liability Waiver
7.1 Injury or Loss
TSF and its partners are not liable for any personal injury, property loss, or theft that occurs during the event, whether at the venue, hotel premises, or during transit.
You participate at your own risk and are responsible for your own belongings and physical well-being.
7.2 Insurance
We strongly recommend that you obtain appropriate travel and health insurance before attending TSF.
8. Intellectual Property & Branding
8.1 Use of Logos & Materials
All logos, visuals, promotional content, and workshop materials provided by TSF or its artists are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
8.2 Recordings
Recording of shows, workshops, or DJ sets for commercial use without prior written permission is forbidden. Personal recordings may be allowed if they do not disrupt the experience of others.
9. Final Notes
TSF reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued attendance following updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.
